This program is designed to assist the non-working partner in successfully establishing connections and making a smooth transition to their new community.
The REA Consultant will provide the accompanying partner with specific information customized to address their individual needs
and concerns.
The REA consultant will:
- Conduct an assessment to identify areas where assistance is needed.
- Provide counseling on managing the many changes associated with relocation.
- Develop customized research, referrals, and guidance on community areas of interest including:
- Assist family with child care or elder care resources if needed.
Exclusive On-Line Resource Center
Each participant receives access (24/7 for up to 1 year) to REA's Interactive On-Line Resource Center
with personalized web account providing access to on-going peer support, networking opportunities and links to local resources. |
