This program is designed to assist the non-working partner in successfully establishing connections and making a smooth transition to their new community.

The REA Consultant will provide the accompanying partner with specific information customized to address their individual needs and concerns.

The REA consultant will:

• Conduct an assessment to identify areas where assistance is needed.
   
• Provide counseling on managing the many changes associated with relocation.
   
• Develop customized research, referrals, and guidance on community areas of interest including:

  	Community Profiles
  	School District Reports
  	Educational Opportunities
  	Health Care Professionals
  	Shopping/Banking
  	Transportation/Area Orientation
  	Community Organizations
  	Recreational/Cultural Activities
  	Volunteer Opportunities

• Assist family with child care or elder care resources if needed.
